Since 2007, Mid America Agri Products/Wheatland (MAAPW) has been pushing the boundaries of what efficiency and sustainability mean for ethanol production. When CEO and founder Robert Lundeen conceptualized the idea to build an ethanol plant in Southwestern Nebraska in 2002, the mission was clear: To create a company that would foster strong relationships with local farmers and maintain impeccable operations in order to become a national leader in the production of renewable energy.
